Other Multi-Day Tour - 9 Days / 8 Nights

Day #1 – Saturday, August 14th:

6:00 AM - Depart Peoria headed northeast towards our destination – the beautiful French – Canadian Province of Quebec. Enjoy a Continental Breakfast* aboard the coach as we travel. We’ll also make rest and meal stops along the way as needed. Don’t forget to set your watches ahead an hour as we enter Indiana and the Eastern Time Zone. Tonight we’ll check into an en route hotel for a good night’s sleep. Dinner is on your own this evening.

6:00 PM - Approximate arrival time at our en route hotel.


Day #2 – Sunday, August 15th:

After enjoying a Continental Breakfast*, we’ll depart for a tour* of the Woodstock Museum. See first hand sustainable energy in the living museum; the truth about organics, solar energy, marijuana and questioning authority. How to own land in common, work less, create more music & art, build your own, and Native American imperatives. Later today we’ll enjoy dinner* en route to our hotel for the evening.


Day #3 – Monday, August 16th:

Today after a Continental Breakfast* here at the hotel, we depart and continue on our way towards Montréal, Quebec. Dinner* is included this evening en route to our Montréal area hotel.


Day #4 – Tuesday, August 17th:

Breakfast* is served at the hotel and then we’re off for a Guided Tour of Montreal*. Visit the magnificent Notre Dame Basilica* noted for its beautiful interior – stained glass windows, paintings, statues, carvings and more. Next, we’ll go to the "Underground City"* - a network of boutiques & restaurants where you can enjoy lunch on your own. Following lunch, we’ll depart for Quebec City, enjoy dinner* en route and then check into our Quebec City Hotel* for the next 2 nights.


Day #5 – Wednesday, August 18th:

After enjoying Breakfast*, we depart for a Guided Tour of Historic Quebec City. Quebec City is 400 years old. It boasts four centuries of history marked by encounters with the First Nations, battles between the French and English, terrible epidemics, and the acts of the men and women our streets are named after today; four centuries during which Quebec has grown into the city we know and love, forging a character all its own built around a thriving culture, economic success, urban transformation, neighborhood life, and the French language. After the tour, you’ll have some "free time" in Old Quebec for lunch on your own and a little shopping time. Following lunch, we’re off to visit Montmorency Falls*, which is 27 meters higher than Niagara Falls. Afterwards, we’ll visit the famous St. Anne De Beaupre Shrine*. Dinner* is included this evening at a local area restaurant.


Day #6 – Thursday, August 19th:

After Breakfast* we head back to Montréal, and go to Olympic Park* where you’ll see a spectacular view of the city’s skyline from the top of the Montreal Tower*. Next you’ll visit Olympic Park’s amazing "Biodome"*, which recreates some of the most beautiful ecosystems of the Americas. This evening, enjoy "free time" and dinner on your own before we check into our Montréal area hotel.


Day #7 – Friday, August 20th:

Enjoy Continental Breakfast* this morning before we depart for the 1,000 Islands Skydeck* in Lansdowne, Ontario. The 1000 Islands Skydeck is a unique tourist attraction, the only one of it's kind in the 1000 Islands. Running continuously, the elevator takes only 40 seconds to reach the first (glass enclosed) of three observation decks and provide visitors with a spectacular photographic opportunity as they enjoy the panoramic view of the 1000 Islands and St Lawrence River stretched out 130 metres or 400' below. Dinner* is included this evening en route to our overnight hotel.


Day #8 – Saturday, August 21st:

Continental Breakfast* is included at the hotel this morning before we check out and depart for the Bata Shoe Museum* in Toronto, Ontario. This unique and interesting museum offers one of the world's most diverse and extensive collections of footwear, a fascinating story of how one determined woman amassed this collection and built the Museum, changing exhibitions, Award-winning architecture, extensively decorated galleries, a Museum Shop stocked with footwear-themed souvenirs, gifts and books sure to delight shoe lovers young and old and much more. Lunch & dinner are on your own today en
route to our overnight hotel.

Day #9 – Sunday, August 22nd:

Continental breakfast* is served before we check out and depart towards home.

7:30 AM - It’s time to depart towards home taking with us many wonderful memories of our times together explore the Province of Québec! We’ll make rest & meal stops along the way as needed. Don’t forget to set your watches back an hour upon entering Illinois and the Central Time Zone.

7:00 PM - Approximate arrival time back in Peoria.

If you feel the Driver & Escort(s) have done a good job, it is appropriate to tip them. We suggest $3 per customer per day for the driver & $3 per customer per day for the escort(s) on this trip.
