Day #1 – Tuesday, November 30th: 6:30 AM - Driver reports to Waiting Room. 6:45 AM - Depart Peoria from PCC Plaza Waiting Room to the Music Capital of the World – Nashville, Tennessee. En route we’ll enjoy Continental Breakfast* aboard the coach as well as making rest and meal stops as needed along the way. 4:00 PM - Arriving in Nashville, we check into Gaylord’s Opryland Hotel and our Atrium View Rooms*. You’ll have time to freshen up prior to our evening entertainment. 5:00 PM - It’s time to head over to Opry Mills Mall where there is a food court and plenty of restaurants to choose from for dinner. We’ve included a $20 Visa Gift Card to use towards dinner. 6:15 PM - It’s just a hop, skip and a jump over to the Grand Ole Opry Show*. Those of you, who want to walk, certainly can meet us over there. For the rest of us, we’ll have the driver take us over. At the Grand Ole Opry, you’ll not only see Country Music Legends but up and coming stars as well. (7:00 – 10:00 PM) 10:15 PM - Following the Opry, we head back to the hotel for the night. Day #2 – Wednesday, December 1st: AM - Breakfast is on your own this morning here at the hotel. 9:00 AM - We meet our Gray Line Tour Guide* for a morning City Tour of Nashville. You’ll learn all kinds of interesting and historic facts about this unique city. 11:00 AM - After dropping off our guide, you’ve got the afternoon to enjoy Opryland Hotel. You’ll have time to visit the Treasures for the Holiday Craft Show*, the Hall of Trees Exhibit*, and the ICE Exhibits*. These exhibits have become a beloved annual event. Lunch is on your own today. 4:30 PM - This evening we’ll enjoy the Louise Mandrell Christmas Dinner Party* here at Opryland. A traditional holiday dinner with all the trimmings is served while Louise and her band perform her favorite Christmas songs, as well as her top ten hits. (5:00 PM Show Time) 8:00 PM - Approximate return time to your room for the evening. Day #3 – Thursday, December 2nd: AM - Breakfast is on your own again this morning. 8:30 AM - It’s time to depart for a tour* of the Country Music Hall of Fame. Inside, the Museum presents the crown jewels of its vast collection to illustrate country music's story as told through the turns of two centuries. A treasure trove of historic country video clips and recorded music, dynamic exhibits and state-of-the-art design, regular menu of live performances and public programs, museum store, live satellite radio broadcasts, on-site dining and fabulous public spaces all contribute to an unforgettable museum experience. (9:00 – 10:30 AM) 10:30 AM - It’s time to board the coach and depart for a Luncheon Cruise aboard the General Jackson Showboat*. Immerse yourself in the proud tradition of the great showboats of yesteryear and delight in the panoramic sights of the scenic Cumberland River as you enjoy a leisurely two-and-a-half-hour afternoon cruise aboard The General Jackson® Showboat*. Experience southern hospitality at its best aboard our midday holiday luncheon cruise. (11:30 AM Reservation) 2:00 PM - After docking, we disembark the Showboat and make our way to Opry Mills Mall* for a little shopping. This outlet mall has over a hundred stores to choose from. If you’re not in the shopping mood, we’ll take you back to the hotel to relax the afternoon away. Dinner is on your own tonight at either Opry Mills Mall or the hotel. 7:00 PM - Let’s make our way to our final show here in Nashville – the Radio City Music Hall Rockettes*. The Rockettes thrill audiences of all ages with a dazzling musical production that includes the legendary "Parade of the Wooden Soldiers" and the "Living Nativity". (8:00 PM Show) 10:15 PM - Approximate return time to your room. Day #4 – Friday, December 3rd: 8:00 AM - Breakfast* is served at Water’s Edge Marketplace before we depart towards home. 9:00 AM - It’s time to end our magical experience here in Nashville as we check out and depart for home. We’ll make rest and meal stops along the way as needed. 7:00 PM - Approximate arrival time back in Peoria.
