A Branson Christmas

Day #1 Thursday, November 18th: 7:00 AM - Lets board our coach and depart for Branson, Missouri! Well make rest and meal stops en route as needed. Continental Breakfast* will be served aboard the coach as we travel. 4:00 PM - We arrive in Branson and have time to check into our home for the next 3 nights Branson Towers*. Youll have to freshen up quickly before we head out to dinner and our first show here in Branson. 4:45 PM - Lets board our coach again and depart for The All American Café for a delicious plated Dinner*. (5:00 p.m. Reservation) 6:00 PM - Our evening show is at the new Sight & Sound Theatre*. Tonight well see "The Miracle of Christmas"*. Christmas memories jump to life as a brand new sensory experience highlights in the Miracle of Christmas. As the aroma of special holiday treats fills your breath, youll have the opportunity to interact with characters and animals from the Nativity story. The theatre will be decorated with lights, greenery, Nativity scenes and a spectacular thirty-foot Christmas tree. But of all the holiday finery is only a prelude to the thrilling story of Christmas Jesus the Messiah coming to earth in human form. The Miracle of Christmas is the touching story of kings, angels and a simple, faithful couple used by God. (Group arrival 6:15 p.m., 7:30 p.m. Show) 10:00 PM - Upon returning to the hotel, youll have vouchers that you can use to visit the Ice Cream Social* which consists of ice cream and homemade cobbler. Day #2 Friday, November 19th: Continental Breakfast* is served at the hotel. 9:15 AM - This morning were off to the Dick Clarks American Bandstand Theater for The Brett Family Singers Show*. This is cutting-edge family entertainment. The Brett Family Show, featuring Branson's Premiere Vocal Group, is an award winning two-hour production featuring remarkable musical variety for all ages. Seen on tour throughout the world, the Brett Family sings Pop, Broadway, Motown, Rock 'n' Roll, Country, Gospel and Patriotic music of all eras with astonishing precision and originality. (10:00 a.m. Showtime) 12:15 PM - Following the show, were off to lunch on your own at the Tri Lakes Center. 2:00 PM - This afternoon we are seated for the Daniel ODonnell Show* here at Tri Lakes Center. Although he's not a regular in Branson, Daniel O'Donnell is definitely one of the most sought after tickets in the Branson area. The native of Ireland has gained a world wide following through his wide range that encompasses everything from country to classic Irish song. His shows in Branson are routinely found to be sold out as far as a year in advance, with busloads of people traveling from as far as Ireland just to catch a glimpse of his performance. (2:00 p.m. Showtime) 5:00 PM - Following the show were off to Dinner* at Montana Mikes Steakhouse on 248. (5:15 p.m. Reservation) 6:15 PM - Weve got about an hour before we have to be at our next show so we have time to go back to the hotel and freshen up if youd like. 7:15 PM - Its not far to The Mansion Theatre. Youll enjoy 2 fantastic performances in one show. The true spirit of Christmas comes alive when Debby Boone* performs a combination of great music, traditional Christmas songs and touching stores of family memories that make this a perfect fit for Branson Holiday Tours. Larry Gatlin and The Gatlin Brothers*are the other _ of the entertainment. They have forged a new musical standard for vocal harmony, raw talent and showmanship while topping the music charts with hit-after-hit. One of the first-class acts in Country Music, the Gatlin's have 15 Top-Five hits including their #1 hits All The Gold In California, Houston (Means I'm One Day Closer To You) and I Just Wish You Were Someone I Loved plus Broken Lady, Night Time Magic, I Don't Wanna Cry and more. Day #3 Saturday, November 20th: Continental Breakfast* is served again this morning at the hotel. 9:15 AM - Were off to the Jim Stafford Theatre this morning where youll enjoy the musical talents of Doug Gabriel*. Doug will sing his favorites, from Marty Robbins to Tom Jones, while he showcases his talents on piano and guitar. You will see and hear Doug's virtuoso skill on the guitar and piano, and be entertained by one of the world's smoothest and most powerful singing voices. Long before you leave the theater, you will know why Doug Gabriel is a three-time Male Vocalist of the Year winner, who was also voted "Entertainer of the Year" and "Instrumentalist of the Year" in 2000. You will also know why Doug's show was voted Best Morning Show three years in a row. (10:00 a.m. Showtime) Noon - Lunch* is served at The Keeter Center at the College of the Ozarks. History comes alive at the Center which is designed to be a beautiful facility with remarkable architecture and interiors recalling memories of old Dobyns Hall. Its rustic lodge design, with handmade furnishings, exquisite landscaping and outdoor gathering areas will take you back to 1906. Theyll be decorated for Christmas as well. Youll have a little time to tour this magnificent facility while here. (Res. is at Noon) 2:15 PM - Our afternoon show is at the Pierce Arrow Theatre*. This show has it all; rocking gospel music, covers of the Statler Brothers and Oak Ridge Boys songs, heartwarming patriotic tunes, and good ole' fashioned comedy thrown into the mix. The group will amaze you with their intense vocal abilities. Dan Britton has held the Guinness Book of World Records title for lowest bass singer on earth for almost twenty years. (3:00 p.m. Showtime) 5:15 PM - Dinner* is included tonight at Fall Creek Steakhouse. (6:00 p.m. Reservation) 7:00 PM - Its a short walk to the Welk Resort Theatre for the Tony Orlando and the Lennon Sisters Show*. Tony Orlando & The Lennon Sisters, Christmas Celebration offers a festive time of holiday classics covered as only the smooth vocals of Tony Orlando and harmonies of the Lennon Sisters can. While Christmas is always a special time in the Ozarks, it will be all the more memorable in 2010 as Tony Orlando and the Lennon Sisters come to town!(8:00 p.m. Showtime) 10:30 PM - Upon returning to the hotel, youll have vouchers that you can use to visit the Ice Cream Social* which consists of ice cream and homemade cobbler. Day #4 Sunday, November 21st: Continental Breakfast* is served again at the hotel. 8:00 AM - We check out, board the coach and depart for home making rest & meal stops along the way as needed. 6:00 PM - Approximate arrival time back in Peoria.
