Other Multi-Day Tour - 11 Days / 10 Nights

Day #1 – Wednesday, September 29th:

6:15 AM - Depart Peoria headed east towards our home for the night – Austintown, Ohio. Enjoy a Continental Breakfast* on board the coach and we’ll make rest & meal stops along the way as needed. Don’t forget to set your watches ahead an hour upon entering Indiana as we’ve entered the Eastern Time Zone.

6:30 PM - Arriving in Austintown, Ohio, we enjoy a delicious Dinner* at Brudder’s Wood Fire Grille & Bar.

8:15 PM - We’ll check into our hotel following dinner – the Sleep Inn*.


Day #2 – Thursday, September 30th:

7:15 AM - Rise & Shine to a delicious Continental Breakfast* served at the hotel. (Bags out at hotel)

8:15 AM - We’re off for another "travel day" towards the East Coast. Again we’ll make necessary rest & meal stops along the way.

6:00 PM - Dinner* is included this evening at Cracker Barrel in Milford, CT.

8:45 PM - Approximate arrival time in Mystic, Connecticut at the Comfort Inn Mystic*.


Day #3 – Friday, October 1st:

7:45 AM - Enjoy a Deluxe Continental Breakfast* this morning here at the hotel before our day of touring begins. (Bags out 7:45 a.m., depart 8:45 a.m.)

9:00 AM - We arrive at Mystic Seaport, located on beautiful Mystic Harbor and experience the lifestyle & interesting artifacts of the "Age of Sail" as your tour* through this New England Village. Discover the dangers and adventures of "whaling" aboard the 19th-Century whale ship – Charles W. Morgan.

11:00 AM - Depart the seaport for Newport, RI.

Noon - We arrive in Newport at the Brick Marketplace* located on beautiful Newport Harbor & take time for lunch on your own & some fine shopping.

2:00 PM - Depart the Marketplace headed to the Marblehouse Mansion.

2:30 PM - Arrive at the Marblehead Mansion for a tour*. The Vanderbilt owned mansion was built with 500,000 cubic feet of American, Italian and African Marbles. Stroll the beautiful grounds while here taking in the beauty of the mansion.

4:00 PM - We’re off to West Yarmouth, Massachusetts. Relax and enjoy the ride.

6:30 PM - We drop the luggage at the Bayside Resort* – our home for the next 2 nights.
7:00 PM - Dinner* is served at Four Brothers Restaurant this evening. (7:00 PM reservation) The restaurant is located right next to our hotel so it’s just a short walk/ride following dinner to check into our hotel.


Day #4 – Saturday, October 2nd:

7:30 AM - You’ll enjoy a Full Breakfast* before we set out for a day of exploring.

8:30 AM - We meet our local guide* and depart for a day of touring the Cape from Hyannis to Provincetown including the Kennedy Memorial, Hyannisport, St. Xavier’s Church, Sea Captain’s homes, giant sand dunes & much more. Time will be provided in Provincetown for lunch & shopping on your own. See pristine shorelines, Hyannis Yacht Club, Scenic Harbor and the best view of the Kennedy Compound available.

4:30 PM - We arrive back at our hotel, drop our guide and have time to freshen up and relax a bit before dinner tonight.

6:30 PM - We’ll enjoy dinner & entertainment* at Christopher’s Restaurant this evening. Following dinner we’re off to the hotel to relax for the remainder of the evening.


Day #5 – Sunday, October 3rd:

7:00 AM - Another Full Breakfast* awaits you this morning before we check out and drive north. (Bags out 7:00 a.m., depart @ 8:00 a.m.)

8:00 AM - We check out, board the coach and depart to meet our Guide* for a historical tour* of Plymouth including Plymouth Rock, views of the Mayflower II & the City of Boston including sights of the USS Constitution, Beacon Hill, Boston Common, Bunker Hill, Old North Church & much more.

11:30 AM - We’ve reserved you for a Boston Harbor Cruise* this morning. Following the cruise, we’ll give you time on your own for shopping in Faneuil Hall / Quincy Marketplace.

3:30 PM - We drop our guide off and travel on to New Hampshire for our overnight stay.

5:15 PM - We arrive at the Anchorage Inn & Suites* and drop the luggage before heading to dinner.

5:30 PM - We’re off again – to the Nubble Lighthouse for a "photo op" and then on to Foster’s Downeast Clambake for dinner*. (Dinner is served at 6:45 PM)


Day #6 – Monday, October 4th:

7:30 AM - A delicious Deluxe Continental Breakfast* is served this morning at the hotel.

8:30 AM - We’re off for Kennebunkport! Enjoy views of the Kennebunkport area including the Bush Estate, Wedding Cake House, and hear the history of this Maine coastal community. (9:30 – 11:00 AM)

11:15 AM - You’ll have time to grab lunch on your own here in the quaint little town of Kennebunkport. (11:15 – 1:00 PM)

1:00 PM - We drop our guide and head over to the famous LL Bean Flagship Store to enjoy some wonderful shopping in the many outlet stores located here. (2:15 – 4:15 PM)

4:15 PM - Depart Freeport for a mouth-watering dinner* at the Weathervane Restaurant in Kittery, ME. (5:45 – 7:30 PM)

8:00 PM - After dinner we’ll return to our hotel for the evening.


Day #7 – Tuesday, October 5th:

6:30 AM - Another Deluxe Continental Breakfast* awaits us before we set out for more beautiful fall foliage scenery. (6:30 a.m. bags out, 7:30 a.m. depart)

7:30 AM - Check out, board the coach and travel to New Hampshire this morning.

9:30 AM - Our first stop will be to experience a true New England Country Store – Moultonborough Country Store*. (9:30 – 10:30 a.m.)

10:45 AM - Arriving at the "Castle in the Clouds, view this picturesque Estate perched in the scenic Ossippee Mountains high above New Hampshire’s largest lake – Lake Winnipesaukee. You’ll view breathtaking fall foliage today. Enjoy a Boxed Lunch* on board the coach while we travel to our next stop.(10:45 – 12:15 PM)

1:30 PM - Depart for the Flume Visitor’s Center*, nestled in the White Mountains with great foliage views. See the orientation film to park with the Flume, Old Man on the Mountain history and New Hampshire’s flora and fauna. See New Hampshire Exhibits on wild life and the mountainous environment. You’ll have time for lunch on your own at the cafe located here. (1:30 – 2:15 PM)

2:15 PM - Next, we’ll stop at Vermont’s Little Grand Canyon – Quechee Gorge*. (4:15 - 5:00 PM)

6:00 PM - We arrive at our home for the next 2 nights – the North Star Lodge in Killington, Vermont. Upon arrival enjoy a refreshing "Welcome Reception"*.

7:00 PM - Dinner* is included this evening at near the Lodge.


Day #8 – Wednesday, October 6th:

7:00 AM - A Full Breakfast* awaits us this morning at the hotel before we depart for Northern Vermont.

8:15 AM - Our guide* meets us and we depart for a "Sound of Music" day. A photo stop will be made at the gold domed Montpelier Capital Bldg., a visit to Ben & Jerry’s* where we’ll visit the ice cream facility and you can enjoy a taste, the Morse Family Maple Farm where you’ll see how maple syrup is made and taste the different grades and finally we’ll enjoy an exquisite hot & cold buffet & Austrian Pastry Cart* at Von Trapp’s Lodge.

5:30 PM - Approximate arrival time back at our hotel where you can enjoy dinner on your own.


Day #9 – Thursday, October 7th:

7:00 AM - Rise & Shine to a Full Breakfast* before we depart to explore Southern Vermont. (7:00 a.m. bags out, 8:00 a.m. depart)

8:00 AM - It’s time to check out, board the coach and depart for a tour* of the Hildene Estate & Gardens, home of the Lincoln family descendents. This 24-room Georgian Revival mansion features original furnishings, family artifacts, gorgeous gardens and a 1000 piece Aeolian Organ played for each group. (9:45 – 11:15 AM)

11:15 AM - Depart Hildene for the short journey to downtown Stockbridge, MA.

1:15 PM - Nestled in the beautiful Berkshire Mountains, we arrive in downtown Stockbridge where you can take time for lunch on your own and explore this charming New England Village, which is home to the beloved Norman Rockwell. (1:15 – 3:00 PM)

3:15 PM - Early afternoon finds us at the Norman Rockwell Museum for a tour*. You’ll receive an introductory talk and then you’re able to browse the many galleries and experience the largest collection of original art by America’s most beloved illustrator. Don’t forget to visit the gift shop while here. (3:15 – 5:00 PM)

5:00 PM - We travel to Albany, New York for our overnight stay.

6:15 PM - Dinner* is included this evening at the Old Country Buffet*.

7:45 PM - Let’s check into the Comfort Inn & Suites* to rest up for tomorrow’s long travel day.


Day #10 – Friday, October 8th:

6:30 AM - A Continental Breakfast* is included this morning before we depart. (6:30 a.m. bags out, 7:30 a.m. depart)

7:30 AM - We check out, board the coach and travel west this morning towards Lake Canandaigua. Relax and enjoy the beautiful scenery as we travel.

11:30 AM - Upon arrival we’ll board a 19th-Century paddlewheel steamboat for a Luncheon Cruise*. Enjoy the relaxing atmosphere and the breathtaking scenery aboard the charming Canandaigua Lady. There will also be historic narration of the surrounding area. (Noon – 1:30 PM)

1:30 PM - Upon docking, we’ll re-board our awaiting motorcoach and depart farther west towards our home for the night – the Sleep Inn* in Austinburg, Ohio. We’ll make a dinner stop en route (on your own).

6:45 PM - We arrive at the Sleep Inn*, get settled in and relax for another long travel day home.


Day #11 – Saturday, October 9th:

6:30 AM - Enjoy a Deluxe Continental Breakfast* before we begin the final leg of our journey home. (6:30 a.m. bags out, 7:30 a.m. depart)

7:30 AM - It’s time to board the coach and depart towards home after a memorable tour of the Grand New England States. We’ll make rest & meal stops as we travel. Don’t forget to set your watches back an hour upon entering Illinois & the Central Time Zone.

7:00 PM - Approximate arrival time back in Peoria.
